Allis was born and raised in this area, and the places in this guide are the ones locals return to again and again. From quiet waterfront mornings to evening markets, neighborhood cafés, and simple days by the bay, these are the experiences that make this place feel like home.

Gulfport Waterfront

A calm stretch of shoreline made for morning walks, open skies, and long sunsets over the bay. There's a shaded playground and an open-air skate park, adding an easy, lived-in energy without ever feeling busy. Simple, breezy, and very Florida.

Beach Boulevard

A walkable strip of colorful shops, galleries, and cafés perfect for wandering without a plan — and just a block away. Pop in, browse a little, grab a drink, and keep moving.

St. Pete Beach

Wide white sand and clear Gulf waters a short drive away. Great for a beach morning or sunset before returning to Gulfport's quieter pace — a classic Florida beach day without the crowds.

Downtown St. Pete

Ted Peters Famous Smoked Fish

  • Monday Morning Club (3129 Beach Blvd S) — a workspace for remote workers with coffee and a relaxed atmosphere.
  • Monday Night Acoustic Jam at The North End Taphouse, 5:30–7:30 p.m. Open to musicians, singers, and listeners.

Tuesdays
